Duality of Life | Mirror-Polished Stainless Steel Sculpture, 120 cm

This is an original abstract sculpture handcrafted from polished stainless steel. It is a LIMITED EDITION of only 10 pieces, with custom sizing available within this limited series. Every piece is handmade, each with subtle unique surface reflections; the mirror finish continuously transforms with surrounding light.

The Artwork

Duality of Life explores the eternal interplay of duality within existence.
Two mirrored forms rise in perfect symmetrical dialogue, curving, swelling and spiraling toward one another. They are separate yet inseparable — two halves of a single whole. The rounded organic volumes twist upward, opening and folding, evoking the cycles of growth: bloom and retreat, expansion and contraction.

Negative space breathes between the twin structures. The highly reflective polished surface absorbs the world around it, blending the sculpture and its environment. Viewed from different angles, light slides along smooth curved planes, constantly reshaping its silhouette. It embodies the quiet truth that all life exists in paired balance: self and other, masculine and feminine, beginning and end.

Material

Crafted from high-gloss polished stainless steel. Its mirror-like reflective surface captures ambient light and surrounding environment. This sculpture works beautifully both indoors and outdoors. It can withstand rain and direct sunlight. Long-term placement in heavily corrosive coastal salt spray environments is not recommended. Perfect for garden, patio, poolside display, as well as home, lobby, office, studio or gallery interiors.
